Abstract
|
|
|
A case of tuberculous endometritis misdiagnosed as submucosal myoma of uterus because of large, localized necrotic mass in the vicinity of myometrium was reported, and the relevant literatures were discussed briefly.
The case was 46 years old woman who complained of persisting discharge and genital spotting in addition to loss of appetite, general malaise and lower abdominal discomfort for 8 years.
Subtotal hysterectomy was done and the biopsy revealed endometrial tuberculosis.
